Last weekend of steam operations on the McCloud Railway involving locomotive #25. The excursion was part of Pacific Locomotive Association event that visited the Blue Goose operation in Yreka on Saturday and the McCloud Rwy. on Sunday, Nov. 1st and 2nd, 2008.

  • I'll have to ask Jeff Forbis about what type of whistle the #25 uses. Will get back to you when I find out. I'm no expert when it comes to steam locomotive whistles.

  • #25 is stored in McCloud Ry.'s enginehouse awaiting sale to an interested party. $650,000 makes her yours. The Dinner train operation is also up for sale. 5 million takes all. Jeff wants to retire in 2010.
