Have you tried any of the Best Bottoms Diaper System? They seem like they might be the best of all worlds when it comes to the AI2s but I would be interested to see how others compare them to other AI2s. I am expecting my first and am strongly considering CDing....but I'm not completely sold yet.

Haven't tried that on, no. I kind of wish I would have started with my first...

Yes I did, and I love them! I love how many options you get with them. Of course you can use the shells with the snap-in inserts designed to go with them, but you could also use them as a cover over fitteds or prefolds. The inserts could also be used in pocket diapers or other covers as well. I haven't yet had to spray them out since my LO is EBF, so I'll see if the convenience is lacking then or not, but for now I love them. I've never had a leak and they seem like they will hold up really well

imblest11, did you end up getting Best Bottom diapers? I am in the same boat you mentioned... interested in Best Bottoms but still not quite convinced.

You seem to be missing the biggest perk of the AI2 category. You can replace the soakers and reuse the covers if they aren't soiled. Furthermore, neither the Echo or the Omni "come" with those specific soakers. You can use either/or with both diapers. They're just options. I have to say this is one of the more uninformed cloth diaper video series that I've come across. Even in your absorbency video it's clear you don't quite understand how diapers work and absorb.
