"Be Mine" Written & performed by Jeff Coleman
( www.myspace.com/fireaimready )

Remix, additional production and video: nathan jay

14 billion years ago, time and space were born / filled with homogeneous, nearly uniform / quark and lepton plasma that led to you and me / through the interplay of chance and necessity // The plasma later cooled to make mostly hydrogen / fueling fusion in the stars' generation one / Supernovas blew up and scattered into space / heavier elements upon which all life is based // On the surface of the Earth, soon after it cooled / some organic molecule, floating in a pool / chanced to have a form that made copies of itself: / the ancient ancestor of Prokaryotic cell // Next Eukaryota, with nucleated cells / symbiotically engulfed power-plant organelles / Multicellular life gained high complexity / in the bargain trading off immortality // The Cambrian Explosion created the array / of nearly all the phyla found on the Earth today / Chordata with its notochord and post-anal tail / had the backbone needed to, in the end, prevail // Fish and reptiles laid their eggs, but mammals chose live birth / milking viviparity for everything it's worth / Hominidae stood up when Ardipithecus / jumped down from the ape branch, a biped much like us // Habilis was handy with fire and stone axe / Erectus kept his butt warm in stylish furry slacks / Neanderthals: a dead end, no trace of them remains / squeezed out by us sapiens, despite their bigger brains // Hunters became farmers, now software engineers / How strange our cosmic voyage of 14 billion years / This journey without meaning, goal, purpose, or design / could have a happy ending.....

  • I know that as a christian you don't know any better, but there doesn't have to be a beginning to the universe. It might have just always been there. But who cares about that, christians still believe in talking snakes and men that live in fish! Luckily intellectualism is taking off. Soon we will finally be rid of these dangerous religions that make people mentally handicapped.

  • If you use that argument, then you can go as far as to say how was "God" put in the position he is in? Did he just magically appear? Where are his origins?

  • I flippen Love it!

  • I love this video, best love song ever.

  • @XReflection I am a christian, but I like making it even by saying that God created the big bang and then let it evolve.

  • @2knowfun2 Bullshit, I was on your channel and I didn't see shit about the universe.

  • Which version of Creation in the Bible do you like best?

    Genesis Chapter ONE,

in which humans were created AFTER plants and animals?

Or chapter TWO, in which man was created BEFORE plants and animals?

    Chapter ONE,

in which man and woman were created at the same time?

    Or chapter TWO,

in which man was created before the plants

and woman was created after the animals?

  • WATCH MY VIDEO and you will understand the creation of universe, stars, planets and life.

Ok ok ok.You sit and wait for Jesus.I am going and live my life.

  • In the voice of Yoda: "So certain are you, hmm..."

Jesus is returning, as is clearly prophesied...just as was his first coming.

The fool has said in his heart "There is no God." Psalm 14:1

You don't know whom you are missing.

  • @bassomanvfr

There is no god you poor sheep.

I believe more in the scenario that aliens breeded humans than that god created us.

  • Bassomanvfr, you say god is without cause and beginning, and he created the universe. But why not just say that the UNIVERSE is without cause and beginning, and leave out the whole "god created" step?

It's simpler, and it explains the observations equally well. Therefore, according to the principle of "Occam's Razor" (look it up), the godless theory is superior.

As you say, "What you believe has no bearing on that reality." The bottom line is YOU don't know what YOU are missing: EVIDENCE.
