NS2 Build 162 Patch Video

NS2 Build 162 was released today (1/25/11). Usually we have a simple text change log describing the changes but we're trying something new this week: here's a short video that has the NS2 developers talking about and SHOWING what they worked on in this update.

Max and the rest of the team aren't in here and we didn't cover every change (we ran out of time) but the important thing is to get SOMETHING out there to you quickly. We're very interested to hear what you think about this format and if you want to see more!

As a mapper I love the annotate feature. I hope it gets improved upon. I would like to see it simplified further. Maybe allow map designers the ability to activate a 'annotate/contact designer' button on alpha and beta maps releases and have the server send the annotations periodically to an email address.
