  • glad i watched this vid. enslaved was a game ive been thinking about getting for awhile now. happy to hear its a solid game; i think ill pick it us this week since its under 15 bucks used.

excellent review! you mentioning star fox adventures may make me pick that up again as well. i think im one of the few people who enjoyed that game lol.

  • @buriedundercliches it nice to hear that its made you want to get this game... its well worth getting and you should like it for sure. I was really happy playing it for sure!

Star fox Adventures is a great game... very much like a Zelda game I think? Ive done a review on it ages ago, you should look it up maybe? ;o)

  • I've got this but haven't played it yet but a mate did and he really enjoyed it. It's interesting you mention the story was well written and probably that's 'cos the script was written by Alex Garland who wrote The Beach, later directed by Danny Boyle and also wrote the screenplay for 28 Days Later and Sunshine (both Danny Boyle again...). I read an interview with him in Edge If I remember correctly where he talked about his interest in games.

  • @anderai yeah its one that is well worth playing. And its always so much more enjoyable if a game has a great story I think? You should find a weekend to give it a go as its a short game and you will just love it I think? Let me know how it goes ;o)

  • great review, my local gamestation shut down :( and replaced by game

  • @fozzyozzy106 Bummer, GAME is a crap shop! They dont know anything about games and dont care about their customers at all I find? ;o)

  • @interghost I know they are pretty bad, try asking one about a game they try and sell you some points card lol prices are higher than other shops too

  • @Trusteft uuummm... ok, but cant promise haha, its just the way I feel about the game and I say it how it is. I dont script anything. I sort of see where you are coming from but I dont think it ruins anything as all good stories have twists at the end ;o)

(Plus its not really a twist, more of a explanation??)

But, yes defo get the game... cheers

  • Just a friendly request, in the future, don't mention at all that there is a twist in the end. The whole purpose of it is to not expect it.

Otherwise, good review, I plan on getting it one day.

  • @gamerslivingroom I think its well worth the £10 mark mate for sure! It was a very nice surprise to find such a classic game like this, and not knowing that it was before buying it!

I guess they set it in USA just for the sales. But to be honest its only the first couple of levels set in the US settings and then it sort of could be anywhere? Let me know if you ever play it and what you think? Cheers ;o)
