http://www.TheConfidentPC.com - The setup check to see of the hard drive will spin up without the PC connection and also the read write heads connected to the controller board. It does spin up, making quite some noise possibly due to bearing wear on the spindle motor. Hard drive model is 13L304202. It has 11 platters making 22 disks with a read/write head on each side of each platters.
