PART 2 - In this tutorial I show you how to create a podcast ready RSS feed using either wordpress.com or your own installation of wordpress. I combine the power of wordpress and its ability to create as many feeds as you want, along with Feedburner to make a valid RSS feed for your podcast.

Using Wordpress and Feedburner to feed your podcast allows you a lot of control over what is in your feed and how your feed will appear on podcast directories such as itunes, Zune, Miro and anywhere else you submit your podcast.

  • excellent tutorial, really helped out a total podcasting novice like myself. thanks a lot!

  • @Cadmuss Thanks for watching. I'm glad it could help. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

  • @thepodcastersstudio since you asked, perhaps a tutorial on how to promote your podcast through a blog: how to add 'subsribe in itunes' buttons, rss feed button, making cover art for itunes, things like that would be very useful to me :)

  • @Cadmuss well I do have over fifty hours of content over at The Podcasters Studio . com;) I cover all topics like that. If you want those types of buttons on your site you simply need to put in a widget on your site. Create any image you want and make it a hyperlink. Look at episode 21 where I include in the shownotes, the code you need to make an image clickable. I'll try to work on a video about making a clickable image as well. Thanks.
