Abraham was one man who God made a great nation that's where Issac and Jacob came from and Jacob was given Israel. Isreal is Gods chosen people. Genesis 12:1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you."I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
You do know this correct?

Im not talking about Malachi you are. Im talking about Romans 9:10 et, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls—she was told, "The older will serve the younger." Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."(THEY DID NOTHING) You do know that Jacob was one person a descendant of Abraham Correct? Luke 3:34 the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham.

When Paul wrote "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated", he was quoting Malachi 1:2-3.
When you read the context you'll see Malachi is not talking about two individuals, but two people groups.
'Hate', is used to describe how he treated them:
"Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland..."
