i think it went all wrong when you put it in crooked right at the start. it seemed you had to put in too much effort than normally required. maybe make a second one edition. :)

@smiggle2003 : It's a hit-and-miss proposition using that gadget. Start out straight and it works like a champ. Start out a bit crooked and it just gets worse. My most common failing is not cutting enough off the top of the pineapple before starting. It's fun, though, and you sure can't beat the taste of fresh pineapple!
