gotta love the ls2 top end charge. my lt1 has a ton of power from a dig but dies up top. those ls' just pull forever. sounds great too

@Hotrodnickell While "practical" is almost impossible, running my LS2 GTO from Phoenix, AZ to Casper, WY (Approx. 1000 miles) I got just short of 27 mpg... Gas guzzler tax? For cost of car and cost of gas, the Toyota Prius is complete crap!

@Ataractic84 That is true. Believe it is a federal law, or in general a legality issue that any car that comes out of the factory will not go any faster than the speed rating of the tires of which is came with from the factory.

I got my 04 a4 to 183mph. Had to let off. car came in my lane lol .. Anyone who has to nerve to talk shit on a gto. Hasn't been in one and can't afford it.

@CoolSabres Can't say I know much about that car but, if I remember correctly the law states that a car has to be governed at a speed lower than the speed rating of the tires that it comes with stock. Or something like that...

A performance tune will remove the governor, I installed the SLP 421 tune about a month ago...

@amusicthang It's a manual, you never hear me shift because I started at 100+ mph in 5th and the governor kicks in just before 5th gear redlines.
