I was there yesterday and couldn't catch a thing. The ones I saw were definitely less active. Too cold still? Half the lake is/was still in ice.

I don't think the Pike are interested much in feeding this time of year so I would not expect much action fishing - they are too busy spawning. Let them spawn...come back in a few weeks it should be much better then. Cheers

Its a great Video! I was 2008 on this Place swimming and fishing and i see also so great Pikes.Next Year im gon fishing in the Yukon and BC!

the pike up there are massive, saw loads on Lake McQuesten up near Mayo in the Yukon this summer.

Basically, this was pike-porn as, just after ice-out, laying side-by-side in such a swallow weed bed... they obvioulsy were spawning. Fish Porn! Is that what's next? ...Send clip off to "Pikes Gone Wild" video-house, I guess. ("Show us your teeth!")
