You're losing your memory Rodney McKay

Okay. This has taken me the better part of a week to finish (and then render). I am going to take this opportunity to warn people not to post any unkind comments or anything like that because the essence of this video is about losing one's memory.
It's terrifying to forget yourself and those around you, and knowing all the time that there's nothing you can do to halt the inevitable decline. This is what this video is focused upon. Rodney McKay in SGA was just convenient for me (because 1; David Hewlett is a brilliant actor who can 'play' this role disturbingly well and 2; there's some real depth to both the main character and those around him which brings the whole reality of losing one's memory home).
Eventually, in the process of creating this, I ended up creating some McShep (which I am not a fan of, personally preferring McWeir... though I'm alright with McShep) and I suppose that makes this even more emotional because there's then the idea that Rodney is losing the one he loves because his memory, his mind, is failing him. This is what it's like for a lot of people around the world.
In closing, I'll stop talking now and hope you find the video emotionally-engaging and like the scene selection etc.

I'm in tears after watching this. The Shrine is one of my favorite episodes and you used it perfectly with the song. The editing is also done exceptionally well. This is going to be one of my favorites for a long time. Is there a place where this downloadable? I have a plug-in that allows for it from youtube but I'd love to save a copy in a better format if possible.

I haven't put it up anywhere else sorry. You could use Mobile Media Converter - it downloads YT vids which you can then format in high quality; it's what I use most of the time for my clips :)

I'm not a major fan of the later series, though I'll watch them for Rodney, but this is one of my favourites just because of the sheer 'feeling' in it. David plays the role of a 'disappearing' McKay far too well and Joe is the perfect 'heart-broken, bromance friend watching his friend waste away'. *Sigh*
