ya man i play alot, Im in grade 12 heading to either Mcgill university or Humber in toronto next year. Im like into all of the same stuff that your into. Where do you wanna go with it school wise?

As a sophomore in high school, I haven't done any extensive research on any colleges yet, but the main place I am leaning towards is MSM (Manhattan School of Music). I feel like I really belong in the city.
Other possibilities include: NEC, Berklee, Juliard (probably not), NYU, and New School.

Everything from Louis Armstrong to Dave Douglas. My current favorites are: Nick Payton, Roy Hargrove, and Sean Jones. Cats like Terell Stafford and Jeremy Pelt are up there, too. Years ago I used to be obsessed with 50s and 60s hard bop stuff--Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, etc. Right now I am digging more the modern stuff, but all of those guys are always good for a listen.
