So basically, what you're trying to do is show people how cool you are because you play guitar. You played the guitar in the beginning but didn't want to look like a douche bag so you had the kid on camera laugh with you as to present the idea of "My friend and I just thought it would be funny to have me play guitar for a minute but just as a joke!"
