Thanks for sharing this. I saw Stevie Ray several times in 1979 and 80 when he played the college circuit around Texas. He was SO loud , played at a furious pace from start to finish, that cigarette was lit the entire performance and either in his mouth or on the neck of the guitar strings and there was no doubt you had seen greatness by the end of the gig. Awe inspiring. We left wondering how someone this good was not famous yet? ...and Ive seen Joe Bonamassa and he doesnt have Stevie's motor

Yeah it was a WNOR -fm 99 ( our rock station) simulcast. I cut my teeth on that sation, Unfortunaly i was too young to get into this show.

@BonzoTriplets Another post says it was mic'd by a radio station. They should know how, I reckon, I reckon. Agreed, great quality with little outside noise, just enough to know it was live.
