Entire cast is amazing and our Alberta Watson shines as the doctor here :)

granted that this is a very good film.. i thought it was kind of unfair.. you wait long enough and your loved one will come back.. and thats the end, they shoud have ended it in the real way.. the sad way.. but. i understand why they did it that way.. end on a good note. people who have gone threw it there is no real happy ending..

It is better to die a few years earlier than to see this happen to a love one, or be that person and have your family suffer through this.

That I think is they key to this film's greatness, and it's great sadness. The word 'hearbreaking' is tossed around a lot these days. This film really is difficult to watch it's so heartbreaking. Christie, and really the entire cast, is lovely.
This scene is...innocent..and it is truly, heartbreaking.

For some reason this disease hits a nerve in me that upsets me so much unlike any other. Its like watching a person die in front of you and under go a metamorphosis and tragic rebirth. Its like all those moments of a life have dissolved and have become lost, "like tears in the rain"
