I'm atheist but I'm very tolerant of people having faith and whatever, I actually grew up Catholic but it honestly never did anything for me. I believe that the entire concept of religion began as a way to control, manipulate and shame people, even you saying you see yourself as a sinner is more evidence of the bible's habit of shaming people. Just my 2 cents anyway...however I am happy that you've found happiness with your religion :D

Thank you for this message! I think I know what you mean...why do many "christians" settle to be lukewarm christians..my pastor was talking about this last Sunday. I'm changing my life around and getting back to God. Please Pray that God will give me strength and faith to live for Him. This strength can only come through Him...

It's not the thought of god that turned me away from Christianity. Its man, the bible, and the pressure from Christians how about those in the 3rd world who have never even been introduced to any deity? Is it fair for them to die? I also think that the bibles been through to many hands to trust, i do not trust man, look what they have done throughout the years.Second I favor facts over the stories of man. I respect others choice in what they believe I just dont like when they try to change mine.

I'm agnostic... but i respect your choice. I hate how people pressure me to become a christian, i should choose to become one not just pretend.. in my mind "if god is real, would he want me to pretend to worship him or be honest".. again, i believe that if i find in my heart god to be real then i will repent, I WILL not lie to myself, or to a god i do not know exists.
