Richard Dawkins speaks about the shifting moral zeitgeist. How do our ideas of what is moral (racism, sexism) change so drastically over relatively short amounts of time in history? It is clearly not from scripture or from a closer reading of religion. Indeed, it is despite of scripture that women are allowed equal treatment in our society, for example. Dawkins explores the issue.

@razioth Of course they do. You are saying "they do this", "they do that", aren't you?... You understand how that works, indoctrination, need to belong, etc

@TurpentineRec no atheists "follow" anybody, they only listen to people, of any point of view, and then judge if what is said makes sense or not. That's open mindedness and not blind following as religious people do

The difference between Christians and atheists is that:
Atheists think of both sides of the spectrum as right AND THEN come to the conclusion that Christianity makes no sense.
Christians believe in Christianity, is presented with other ideas, and calls them all foolish.
Very much the definition of close-mindedness. Be proud of it. Your view is so flawless.
