  • AK's record against Hingis was miserable. Just 1 win, and that was in some low key exhibition tournament. One journalist asked Hingis about their 'rivalry'. Hingis' withering reply was a classic. 'What rivalry? - I win all of the matches'

  • @Kidsgrove49 not exhibition it was in berlin lol

  • wow, after all that it was 6-3 6-2. Seemed more epic from the highlights.

  • Annas ponytail is sooo cute. Ah the memories of invincible Hingis, barring the Majoli hickup.

  • I luv the sound of racket

  • @nelle069214 That is utterly ridiculous. She would never have gotten past Venus or Kim in the 2010 USO. She would have never gotten past Kim to win the 2011 Aus O. She would not have gotten past Maria or Azarenka in this year's French. She had a good game and the potential to win majors, but she didn't make that happen. She allowed her game to peak at a very young age and didn't bother to work hard, make improvements and exploit all of her talents.

  • @MrRokePoke Yes and she was involved heavily in an era of the most competitive field of female tennis players I can remember. Graf, Seles, Sanchez Vicario, Martinez, Novotna, Davenport, Mauresmo, Hingis, The Williams Sisters, Pierce as well as opening the door for other Russians to come into the game and take the advantages she helped create for them. Deserves a lot of respect and credit for that alone.

  • @wei2k usually happens in Hingis' matches. She just makes a ton less errors than her opponents. She thrashed Venus in the 2001 AO 6-1 6-1 and still Venus was the protagonist of the highlights lol

  • @Meskiagkasher Yes Kournikova did win important tournaments she won 16 WTA double titles and 2 ITF singles titles, was number one woman in world in doubles in Nov. 1999, was number 8 in world in singles in 2000. Anna Kournikova had a lot of injuries so had a shorten career. Hingis did better won 43 WTA single titles and 2 ITF single titles, 37 WTA Doubles titles, 1 ITF Double titles. Had reached number 1 in both singles and doubles during her career.

  • @hydrolito Hingis was a spoiled kid.

and did Kournikova ever win any important tournament?

  • @Meskiagkasher If you don't like them why did you even bother to watch this, they were two great players and Hingis one of the best women's player ever.

  • @aceboggie504 They shortened this and included only part of match you'd have to see full match to get right perspective.
