On May 3, 2008, the San Bernardino County Democratic Central Committee (SBCDCC)hosted the first annual Congressman George E. Brown, Jr. Inaugural Awards Banquet honoring The 2008 Grassroots Volunteers of the Year.
The event was held at California State University, San Bernardino and the Featured Speaker was Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi slated to be the next Governor of California.
This video contains those portions of Garamendi's speech that dealt with Education in California, the effect of Arnolds's budget cuts, and the consequences of educational deficiency on the work force and global competition.
