2/3 I am currently with a group of Nursery and Reception children whose topic is animal life cycles. We have made a whole range of stories that emphasise the need for animals in the countryside to remain in their natural habitat and poems that relate the children's reaction to frogs and frogspawn.
I have taken their words and put them into verses which were than changed into a song about the frog lifecycle.
The children are meant to 'grow' as wriggle legs and arms as the song progresses, as well as going 'ribbit' inbetween the verses.
I had my wife's help in the frog noises. It's the glamour of showbiz that she likes the best.
