HOBY's Big Idea for Chase Community Giving

HOBY GLOBAL YOUTH SUMMIT

For 53 years, HOBY has inspired a global community of youth and volunteers to a life of leadership, service and innovation. Annually, 10,500 students participate in HOBY programs in all 50 states plus Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Philippines, China, Ireland, UK, and soon to be Nigeria and Iraq. Today, 375,000 alumni are making a difference and inspiring others to do the same.

Our goal is to energize the next generation of leaders by creating the first ever GLOBAL YOUTH SUMMIT. This weeklong event will challenge thousands of students, ages 16-18, from 30 countries to break through cultural barriers, and work with leaders to find solutions to the world's most pressing needs: poverty, hunger, racism and more. Through the power of social media, HOBY will engage youth worldwide as they virtually meet leaders, ask questions and
share ideas.

The GLOBAL YOUTH SUMMIT inspires youth to action - to come up with their own BIG IDEAS, and see them come to life in the year following the summit. Together with those they inspire, HOBY youth will create a better world for all of us.
