@rctsos they get their OLED licensing from Universal Display Corporation, which is a US company...so its US technology

@visualax LG is gonna sell the first OLED tv late this year. However I applaud sony for including it in the PSP2.

That is cool but I am sure it is at least $1,000. I could not afford anything like this but hey maybe after it has been out for a few years the price will drop in half. I am not sure I would buy it though.

Errr... i think you should go check your facts. My partner works for Samsung and Sont buys their screen technology of Samsung. Please check next time. Don't get me wrong, i love Sony as well but they do not make all their tech... only some of it.

OLED is the future, energy efficient but with high picture quality.
all thats left is to start mass producing them.
