I try to stay as unbiased as possible when it comes to f1 and I have the utmost respect for Felipe Massa, but had he won the world championship in 2008 it would have been an absolute travesty. The outrageous decision made in this Grand Prix and the penalties from which Massa gained in Japan later on was completely wrong. Clearly fate saw that their was one too many piss takes in a season and fate ruled correctly in Hamilton's favour at the sweetest point of all. The last corner of the season.

@ArjunJethwa steve rider

@PT8475 Kimi had the advantage going to la source as he was going faster down the straight. Its not Hamiltons fault that he was better on the brakes.

@F1RickyC Every point Hamilton got that year he worked for, Massa got gifted wins in france and spa whilst Hamilton got one of his taken away my a joke of a decision. Lets not forget that Massa threw 2nd place away in Malaysia and was pathetic in silverstone.

@JimboBobkins54 the real justice was seeing massas family celebrating then their realisation that hamilton was champion HAHAHAHA

Firstly what do you mean by "example"? This ending is in no way biased towards lewis hamilton and steve rider is just taling about lewis winning the race?

Who is the presenter?

@JimboBobkins54 No, actually, he must give back the position AND HOLD POSITION BEHIND FOR ONE FURTHER CORNER.
It's why Alonso had to let Klien past twice in Japan 2005, and why Schumacher was about to get a penalty in Hungary 2006 before his engine blew.
Hamilton was quite rightly given a further penalty, though it should probably have been done sooner than that evening.

@JimboBobkins54 Hamilton did win this race fair and square, but justice was served? Massa leading in Hungary 3 laps from the end and his engine went losing him 10 points so i personally wish massa had of won the title that year hes had alot of bad luck in F1 and his passion at the end in Brazil hitting his chest with his hand whilst crying is undoubtedly the most iconic and memorable thing ive seen in F1 for a while
The decision to void Hamilton's victory in Spa was the single most outrageous thing I have ever witnessed. The rules clearly stated that Lewis had to give the place back before the start/finish line, which he did, an the McLaren team even provided telemetry that showed Lewis travelling 20 mph slower when they crossed the line, what more did the FIA want? However, justice was served on the final corner in Brazil. :D

For me, the penalty was wrong. Lewis let the opposition through safely.
