Poetry on Parade: As Easy As Breathing

Janet Fagal, a teacher at State Street School in Skaneateles, has brought poetry to a new level in the lives of her students, not only teaching it as part of the language arts program at the school, but also taking it beyond the classroom with an annual poetry recital for the past five years. This year's concert, previously held for just friends and family, was open to the public for the first time and performed by her 2008-09 third grade class at Skaneateles High School auditorium, Monday evening, Sept. 21.
