@lidesnowi that's what all sucky guitarists say, then they only noodle some random pentatonic/blues scale shit.. sounding like nothing but musclememory crap
-
@lidesnowi the idea of learning a solo makes you a better musician as a whole due to the fact that you can take riffs and transform them into your own. i learnt a lot of scott henderson, john mayer SRV, and i took all of their riffs and solos but made my own style with it. It is partly about being able to play what you feel or improvise, but the idea of variation comes into place when looking at this idea. check out my channel, its called williamreynoldsmusic3
Cheers

WTF?????

they don't play all the solo their is a little bit of improvisation and if yon listen carefully you can see that a blues form is missing
-
WOO`H´! WASHBURN HB35! :D

You are dead on right! Be yourself. But..... I'll guarantee that anybody who studies that solo will gain tons of info and new places to go when they solo. SH is a wonder.
Can you write 'cover' in the title from now on please,.
It's disrespectful to the original artist, and annoying to viewers.

Why do everybody try to play the original solo( Scott NEVER DOES) soloing is all about playing what YOU FEEL. (IMROVISATION) not what Scott felt when he was recording the tune!
Play YOU!!!!!!!
