In some of rural parts of Thailand where agriculture is not feasible, insects are the best source of proteins and even now some Thai people (not me ;P) still love eating those bugs. FYI not all kinds of bugs are edible or delicious but certain kinds are.

Choose to eat bugs better then eat dog,cat,cow,pig,snake,buffalo,rabbit,chicken or sheep. The bugs have got more protein then some animal that people choose to eat in Europe or USA. English might don't want to eating the bugs. But English can eat the rabbit. In Thailand people don't eat rabbit. Rabbit are become a pet for Thai people.
