I dunno~ I disagree. I'm a foodie and I work with others who also call themselves foodies. We follow trends in organics, bioavailibility, nutrition, superfoods, and sustainability. We tend to like finer foods and shun cheap processed, name brand or franchise food. Yes, we would rather follow a recipe that calls for fresh basil. We are amateur food critics and know when the taste in something is lacking. Better yet, we are always looking to make food BETTER.
