  • The first sax solo seemed neither basic nor blue. I would prefer a more relaxed approach, especially at the beginning of the tune.

Great technical skill and ideas, just not maybe the best place to play them.

  • Thanks for your opinion, the "paying" audience seemed to enjoy it more then you did, so sorry, no one including me cares what you think. Move on Mr. Critic.

  • I bet you really do care, you just don't like when the opinion is a bit negative. Speaking of, the only negative comment I had was that the ideas seemed more appropriate for a different piece or later in the solo. I said they were great ideas and played very well.

Rather than get into a discussion on your grammar or on the merits of using an audience as the ultimate judge of quality I will just say again that my comments were very mild and that I hope you can learn to take critiques better.

  • No, I really don't care because you're talking about a performance thats 12 years old and your opinion doesn't matter to me. Why do you think it does? The performance and your opinion are of no importance period!

I compliment individuals for a job well done or for a service provided. I don't tell people about things I dislike unless asked. I don't believe that anyone asked for your opinion and I question your need and desire to do so.

    There is no debate..........H I S T O R Y

  • @matthewR77 I disagree slightly, I hear what you're hearing but I don't think the issue are the saxes choice of style. I think if the drums gave just a little more participation to the soloists then you would have been sold on the soloists. Don't get me wrong, the drummer is obviously very good, but what the drummer does during the solos makes a huge difference.

  • Really dig this Thanks

  • Some nice solos from both saxes. Good band - clean drumming.
