Very cool. I am blessed to live very close to old growth forest and love to hike in them whenever I can. Ancient structures are cool, but ancient AND living is truly awe inspiring.

@LostHemingway your alaska trip looks epic! my number one priority for the last several years has been an annual motorbike trip, whether it be for ten days or five months. it's my only expense. i have no children, i am not a clothes shopper, my motorbike gear is almost 20 years old. i camp most places unless it's really raining. i allow for a budget of about $100 per day, including food, accomm, gas, bike repairs, and go as long as the budget holds. have had some sponsorship, & write articles.
