A Bedini type pulse motor driven by a Rodin coil. The rotor is a 3/4 inch cylinder, magnetized thru the diameter,
( Neodymium N42 strength from KJ Magnetics )

It is mounted on a wooden drive shaft over the Rodin coil.
The magnet is not connected to the shaft, it just spins on its own. In later videos Neospin10 and others, the magnet is glued to the shaft. A 555 timer provides the variable frequency pulses to the coil. Power is +15 VDC. Mounting the cylinder along the axis of the coil did not work for me, as in Jaimie Buturff's setup, but I'm happy it worked by rotating the axis 90 degrees. Same circuit as the Rodini charger video posted earlier.
The spinning rotor acts to stay over the center of the coil, if you push it away it moves right back. Getting an aluminum driveshaft to see what kind of power out it might have.

  • The "shaft" is not rotating.

    Where's the torque?

  • @kmarinas86 The only torque is the force you can feel on the magnet when you touch it. If you glue the magnet to the shaft, the torque is reasonable. See my later Neospin10 and Neospin12 where the magnet is fixed to the shaft.

By the way, your Newman motor is cool. Enjoyed seeing it run.

    Aloha

  • Nice torque like you say! Hey, how about trying to build the same coil but with the rotor passing right in the middle?

  • guydude, I could not get the magnet to rotate when the axis was right thru the middle as you suggest, but it vibrated a lot. Jaimie Buturff was able to do this successfully however, with out-of-phase pulses to the 2 coil windings.

    aloha

  • Nice Motor. 5*

If you use a Rheostat and take out the limiting resitor you may find that the power throughput will increase a lot...

    Paul..

  • You mean replace the 2 100 ohm resistors to the base of the 2N3055

with a rheostat or pot? is that right?

thanks for taking a look at it

  • I've studied Rodin's work and the only people it fools are the people who don't really understand electromagnetics. His claims are vast with his 'Vortex Math' and 'God Numbers'. He has a toroid, nothing more. Configuration is slightly unusual, but the same principles apply. Large cross-sectional area, coupled with low voltage and low current requirements mean that few turns are required, even ranging from very low frequency to high frequency (20kHz). The trick to the whole thing is the magnet.

  • Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

  • ok the space aliens are back, in a comunication with ET from mars....

in a spooky voice use a stator

specifically a printed motor pancake stator.

but you will need 2 of these beauties or design your own. its a Rodin coil but its mathematically correct.

    need a picture?

  • can this work backwards??

(aka wind spins rotor spins magnet near coil makes electricity???)
