The ATLANTIC SALMON FEDERATION, monitoring the Magaguadavic River in southwest New Brunswick, is finding aquaculture escapees entering the river. In the US, authorities are also seeing them in the Dennys River. The aquaculture industry is required to report escapes - but no escape reports have been filed. Wild salmon in these and all nearby rivers are endangered, and interactions are harmful. Views of St. George salmon ladder.
