  • What a great sone a song writer! The following is not a criticism but a matter of clairification. An F chord with the first string open would be called an F Major 7. If you put a C in the bass, it becomes Fmaj7/C. A C chord with a G (C/G) in the bass is not any kind of suspension chord but could be considered a C chord, 2nd inversion.
