Does it seem like everyone's saying the same thing? None of the candidates look good to you? Well, I've got another option for you: me. I've got some great, ambiguous "plans" for reform that probably won't impact your life anyway.

I have a plan to raise freedom, lower taxes, and increase happiness nationwide by up to 60% over the next four years, and if we work together, we can make it happen.

Ah, yes, but is it not all in defense of freedom? That's the dynamic it seems the Bush administration is trying to set up. You've got Freedom vs. Terrorism. Freedom for the Iraqis too! Yes, they're trying to scare us into giving them more power, but they excuse these tactics by saying that they are "in defense of freedom." Sounds like somebody's changing the definition of the word.
