@dukeallen2001 the video showed both extremes of the spectrum. did we not here the late mississippi gov. ross barnett proclaiming "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever"?
-
@valleyguy72 We shouldn't be simpering, whiny liberals who apologize for a past we weren't witness to, either.
-
@dukeallen2001 No but as a world we cannot forget our past. The past-good & bad-determines the future. Will we repeat the past or learn from it? And the vast majority-though not all- of the massacres this country has seen have been done by "the white man" because "the white man" STILL thinks himself superior to others. There is endless amounts of historical documents to back that up by the way. Should we just continue under that umbrella or act like it doesn't exist?

@valleyguy72 So you'd get warm fuzzies if they put pics of Hitler in it?

In regards to pop culture events- add something to do with Madonna and the death of Farrah Fawcett (one of the biggest pop culture icons). Madonna has now sold more than The Beatles. Social Studies- gay marriage and the strides of equality. Maybe do a new video each year. Might be quite the undertaking to do so as each year we see history unfold before our very eyes. There is a lot to take in. Do you simply add footage or remove others and add new? Thank you for the taking the time to post this.

@dukeallen2001 Yes we do. To learn from the past we must be reminded of the past.

Young and Old...should never forget what they remember. Never forget lessons learned. Never forget failures or victories. Always remember that which is important and those who are important. Hold tight to your dreams and your memories...lest they will slip away! God Bless America!
