A series of short clips from all three girls showing their life saving abilities for pebbles :).

There will be a follow up water video from the girls posted in the next few days that shows there progress (they are diving and swimming much better and deeper than this now), these clips just seemed to lend themselves to a separate video due to their content.

I hope you enjoy the video and please post suggestions if there are videos you would like to see from them.

  • Isnt it bad to get their head wet?

  • @GoneLego

It is possible for them to get issues if they get water inside their ears, which is what you have heard. But when a rat dives (you can see it on some of my videos) it pins its ears right back and seals them off to prevent this. In addition when they come out of the water they will shake and clean. The problems come when people put the rats into water, out of their depth etc. When the rat is not prepared for whats happening and may not protect itself. Thanks for watching.

  • You don't make good videos........ You make GREAT videos! 5/5

  • can i ask somrthing ? im expecting to get rats and i need info about the water you know when they dip there heads in the water i know it is okay, put do you have to get this thing that they can walk on and give them treats to fallow your hand into water or somthing. Please awnser :)

  • aw u have such a big space for ur rat!

  • Perhaps this was asked, but why are they pulling pebbles from water? I suppose a learned trick. I know rats are just as smart and trainable as say a canine. But just curious to know whether it was something they picked up in general or had to be coaxed into (so to speak).

  • Stone overboard!

  • you are my rat lover hero, you should buy the merk merial of pet health book its got everything in it! plz reply back :]

  • I took your idea of stones for my ratties pool to entertain them, and just like yours did, they're crazy about their stones, they keep "rescuing" them ;-)
