can i ask somrthing ? im expecting to get rats and i need info about the water you know when they dip there heads in the water i know it is okay, put do you have to get this thing that they can walk on and give them treats to fallow your hand into water or somthing. Please awnser :)

Perhaps this was asked, but why are they pulling pebbles from water? I suppose a learned trick. I know rats are just as smart and trainable as say a canine. But just curious to know whether it was something they picked up in general or had to be coaxed into (so to speak).

It is possible for them to get issues if they get water inside their ears, which is what you have heard. But when a rat dives (you can see it on some of my videos) it pins its ears right back and seals them off to prevent this. In addition when they come out of the water they will shake and clean. The problems come when people put the rats into water, out of their depth etc. When the rat is not prepared for whats happening and may not protect itself. Thanks for watching.
