how much does one of those chairs cost, and do you need a special one for multi-person stuff? Should a beginner practice on the ground first? so many questions..!
my chair is home-made,my dad did it for me some years ago...been on the ground or not doesn't make any difference for a beginner...actually been lift up is better because there are less chances to get stuff on your head..!But is less practical to take the objects by your hown,and your props tend to get broken easier because of the high.

Just came hier via your video that's going viral... Amazing routine! Being a semi-decent juggler myself (though not at all your level ;)) I love the fact that you have a show that's really technically challenging, very unique and entertaining. You doing more shows here in Germany? I'd love to see this live :)
