The always fascinating Linus Roache as Michael Cutter, ADA on Law & Order for the last three seasons of its run. Cutter was an incredibly dynamic character, who sometimes skated the thin edge of the wedge, but always was searching for justice. Linus played him masterfully, showing Cutter's ruthlessness and charm in equal measure. Thank you Linus for all your performances of this marvellous man. Let him have a large place at the table on Law & Order: SVU this season!

Ah yes, good episode. Also breaks cannon, too - it's established Lupo already has a dog, and then he gets another one in that episode, though they imply throughout the show it's the same dog.

@TheFunkyPoacher It is from the episode Submission, where I got the inspiration for this video. It is the one where there is a dog fighting ring that the detectives break up. Linus is talking to Lara Flynn Boyle over a bottle of wine and makes that little grin. She's talking about submission signals in canines and in the end, when he is being very aggressive in his prosecution, he says he's not like the other dogs and will keep attacking.
