From 1980's SF band Chrome Dinette. I had this on a cassette and felt like unleashing it into the world.

  • brilliant record

  • Like the most of you, saw these guys whenever I could....so great! Got to know their sound guy...great guy...went on to do sound for Mr. Big and other really "big" acts. Check more about Nigel if you're interested -

Anyway....loved Chrome Dinette! There must be some folks out there with tapes...from live shows...direct off the main board ( Yes Nigel, I'm looking at you!). Maybe.....some day.....SOMEONE will!

  • Saw the open for Duran Duran at the Kabuki.

  • Come on guys! Do a definitive CD collection!

  • I always liked this band - saw many times! Had this song in my head for 30 years. Do they do shows? They should!

  • I saw them play twice, at the Waldorf I think in San Francisco opening for different bands. Always thought they were a good group. I remember Mingo Lewis was with them one time.

  • Jet, Mondo Condo, Can't Live Without You, Prisoner, Universe. Many great songs from a fun band. I wore out a demo cassette they had. Adam was a great guy and a good teacher. I hope they are all doing well.

  • Chrome Dinette were an amazing band. I studied guitar for a while with Adam way back when, and saw the band perform many, many times. The songs were fantastic, and the energy of the band was infectious. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Too bad so many of their great songs never made it to vinyl.

  • I swear I remember seeing them open for Wang Chung, as well...but I did buy the 12" vinyl, and still have it! It's a good memory- thanks for posting.
