A little aimed rapid fire off the bench, firing Polish light ball surplus. The rifle is a Finnish M39 from 1970, probably among very last non-scoped bolt action rifles made for any regular military use. I have Mojo double apertures on and they work great so long as you can see your target. You ignore the front sight and focus on the target, letting yourself automatically center it in the double circles.
@PricklyPete10 I've heard these arguments, but the Mojo is not intended to function like a competition-grade aperture sight. The Mojo gives very fast and consistent target acquisition and is easier on the eyes than the traditional notch and post. It isn't for long-range pinpoint accuracy. And the proof is in the pudding. They work!

Question about the mojo sights. All the old guys poo-poo the idea of an aperture sight on a Mosin Nagant because it is so far from your eye. What do you see as the biggest benefit, speed, consistency or what. I am new to iron sights so I guess I am asking if it is worth it to put the time in on the the standard iron sights or just try these out.
