It is original. It's just similar to another artist's.. Think of a magician who does one trick and another magician inspired to do a completely different but similar trick.. The concept of this is that it is a show.. which means they had to have a concept which fit the time frame available and was exciting..It wouldn't be interesting or feasible to watch him develop an original new concept over several days, weeks or months..

The very definition of style itself holds originality. You can't have a style if it's not original. If anything, a technique. The art created here has no integrity because of this. And what is art without integrity or originality...a paper weight.

Check out his site and see his work generally is very different.. More graff based with funk fusion.. Not comparing but da Vinci wasn't the 1st to paint the last supper...

Oh man. I think he is artistic, talented...NO. Does he have technique? yes, but it's not his. Originality, not one bit. I know DG personally, before all of this. I am very sad to burst everyone's bubble, but as an old friend, DG is a fraud. He tried being a writer, but failed miserably and blamed graff. That's ballsy. Please read up on Denny Dent.

I don't think he ever claims it's his own original style. It's a show that he puts on while traveling. Many people use Denny Dent's style. David's original work is much different than the show. You can check his website and see. It's a show. his own stuff is very original.

We were there when he did this. He is amazingly talented and from talking with him earlier in the day he is a pretty damn good guy as well.

It was a great show. The one he did the day before with Einstein and Carlos Santana was pretty amazing.

No one really is truly original! Come on. Every MC gets inspiration from somewhere. You just have to be passionate about what you do. And do what you do for a purpose greater than yourself.

You know, I don't think it really matters who first did a certain technique or developed a certain style in art. What matters is the talent and skills of the artist. David has both talent and skills and has taken what he does to the masses. He is raising the awareness of a new generation to the possibilities of art, the urban lifestyle, and the fact that you can make money in the process.
