I agree its front office big wigs that dont care! thats whats ruined the leafs. the leafs make HUGE $ win, lose or draw. so the investors dont feel the heat to do anything better. doesnt have to do with cash though, and thats my point. its a matter of wanting to win, and persuing it.

There are MANY more ways to invest in a team other than salaries...physio, trainers, training facilities, an extensive research and scouting system, etc. Building a good team is not down to good luck alone...you should know this.
If you don't beleive the cup has not been in Toronto these past 40 years due to anything other than front office incompetance you live up to the name calling you levelled at me.

Should we be happy that the leafs will make the playoffs? Nothing short of the cup should make leaf fans proud and the leaf organization has done very little to build a contender except wishing for the right draft picks next year.
This club has SERIOUS money to work with but knows us chumps will keep buying tickets regardless.
