beautiful beyon words but habib mispronounced nakhat fashani as "nighat". However the other version of the same song sung by nahid akhtar is even more beautiful

yeah... Naheed Akhter has also sung it beautifully. Nevertheless, I love this song particularly as it reminds me of my childhood when we used to hear such sweet songs on PTV and when I find myself humming 'em word to word with the singers unconsciously, it is the height of ecstasy :)

A great patriotic song by a great singer. Few people know that Habib Wali Mohammad is a US educated MBA degree holder. Moreover, he hails from the famous & rich 'Habib' family of the 'Land of the Pure,' owners of more famous Habib Bank and Habib Bank AG Zurich. He never charged anything for his God given singing talents. He is by far, my favorite singer since early school days in the 1970s. May God Almighty grant Habib Wali Mohammad long & prosperous life & good health. Aameen, Tsum Aameen.
