  • @punkrokr526 It's called portamento. You carry the note down barely touching all the chromatics between the first note and the last. It's not sliding because that just blurs the notes, this is a kind of multi note trill. Start out slowly from one note and sing each chromatic note down to the last note. Then just get quicker and lighter each time.

  • If you have a good vibrato its pretty easy. it just kinda flows out

  • are there any singers here that know how the FUCK he does that riff from 1:18-1:20 and again from 2:40-2:42???

im singing this song at my sister's wedding and i NEED to know how he does that. i cant figure it out!!

  • @jewey896 nope. gavin and jonathan groff used to date.

  • @kelseyanne08 wait is Sutton datin Jonathan Groff?

  • That little kiss is the cutest thing! I love how everyone after's going, "AWWWW!!" yep.

  • Oh my goodness, listening to his rendition of "What Do I Need With Love" is...just....oh my. I need a moment :)

Same goes for Jonathan Groff. If they are still dating, great, I'm happy for them. But I am SO in love with them both. They need to do a duet. Ladies, are you with me?

  • @Selendomono "no use pretending not that i could" i die every time

  • Awesome modality at 0:46.

  • Gavin Creel sounds exactly like the great tenor, Kenny Baker, of old Hollywood Musical fame. Watch, Kenny Baker "OUR LOVE IS HERE TO STAY" Goldwyn Follies1938 GEORGE & IRA GERSHWIN here on Youtube. I thought of Kenny the first time I heard Gavin. Reincarnation?
