Paragliding Niviuk Hook Dunstable Downs

My first flight of my brand new Niviuk Hook on my Birthday Jan 06 2008 at Dunstable Downs. A lovely morning Flying followed by my wonderful wife and family arriving with birthday cake and coffee. Does life get any better?

Hello sir!

I was wondering if you would recommend the Niviuk Hook as a first wing?

Meaning of course after I finish instruction classes.

I would recommend it if you're OK with a DHV 1-2. It is a fairly fast and sporty wing in this class but has excellent safety too (see the DHV reports and you'll see what I mean). It is very very easy to ground handle and fly so is superb for building confidence. It really does boild down to personal choice though. e.g. many people like the Gradient Golden II but it did not suit me. I suggest you try and get hol dof a demo wing and try it.

yes i did, sorry i haven't replied yet, im still thinking about it and whether i can afford it atm with my other hobbies, but i will try and get in contact so i can come and watch
