The Espers are hiding in a cave west of Thamasa, drawn there by the golden statues of the Warring Triad. The real Warring Triad is deep within the Sealed Gate, and give off lots of incredible energy. However, we do get interrupted by a familiar rival. Game made by Square Enix and published by Nintendo.

  • I wish they would make this large of an enemy variety in a modern day RPG. Wouldn't it be amazing to play a game like Dark Souls or Elderscrolls: Skyrim with like.. 300 different (if not more) enemies? Crazy shit.

  • @RiouInsuiko Rather than the same enemy with different titles, I see what you mean :).

  • around 8:49-8:50 altros is dancing on locke ? did any one else see that

  • First Try. xD

  • Siegfried and Ultros, the Dorky Duo.

  • @RiouInsuiko I am not sure how many enemies are in Secret of Mana, but I know that there are 40 bosses and one final boss.

  • I never really used Gau, Strago, or Relm to their full effect. I never understood how their systems worked plus having Gau learn rages seemed like a tedious task.

  • @newfiebangaa Or for example (which is done in many of these older games too) recoloring of an enemy with different offensive/defensive values and a new name.

It's really tough to do. They don't do it for obvious reasons. An Elderscrolls game for example with 300 unique enemies would probably span at the least, two Blu Ray disks. Dvd's for the Xbox? Try 5 disks, lol.

The future will open the doors for even more immersive gameplay. Unless of course, the developers get lazy.

  • Guess what I read the attack "Tentacle" as? *Facepalm*

  • is Locke breaking the fourth wall?
