UPDATE: A San Mateo County Superior Court judge yesterday dismissed criminal charges against a 31-year- old woman accused of drugging and robbing men -- including a National League umpire -- whom she met in hotel bars in 1993.

Prosecutors decided against retrying Kelly Finnegan after the jury deadlocked last week on whether she drugged and robbed two men, among them umpire Terry Tata, and found her not guilty of robbing and drugging a third man. Judge Margaret Kemp dismissed the charges.
