Wonder Woman vs She-Ra (HD)

The toughest TV superheroine from the 70's faces the toughest cartoon superheroine from the 80's. Granted, a sizable portion of their invincibility in their respective shows was due to the fact that neither one ever faced anyone anywhere near their own power level. Well, that's not completely true for Wondie. She did face that Darth Vader wannabe, and that alien guy who turned into a weird neanderthal. And then there's the ant chic who was supposed to be pretty strong. But for the most part, the Wonder Woman TV show was mainly about Wondie tossing around a bunch of hapless guys who'd have a hard time beating Bruce Lee's 6-year-old niece, let alone DC's strongest lady. And She-Ra? Like her brother He-Man, her enemies were such a bunch of worthless weaklings the only question was why the hell she didn't just drag their sorry butts to jail in the first two minutes of the show and get it over with.



Say all you want about professional wrestling (it's silly, fake, childish, ridiculous, etc.), but the one thing they got right is that a hero cannot be truly heroic unless she faces seemingly insurmountable odds against her. When all your superheroine ever faces are wimps and idiots that she can easily defeat, it doesn't make her look tough and competent, it only makes her enemies look like stupid pathetic wimps, and it makes her look weak as well.



So, for everyone who ever dreamed of She-Ra facing an enemy that could lift things heavier than a small mosquito, for everyone who wished to see Lynda Carter fighting someone who could actually throw a punch that would do more than tickle her, for anyone who thought it was the height of inanity for a fight to end with the villain charging the heroine, she stepping aside and the villain plunging to his death or smashing into another villain coming the other way, for you here's my humble contribution to your wet dreams.

How did you make them? Did you use Caws?

I'm using a hacked version of pcsx2 (a PS2 emulator) to run the game. The hack allows me to create wrestlers who look like those two ladies. There's no chance in hell I could've done that on a real PS2 with the CAW.

I got the game on my Xbox 360. Can I use the emulator to make the characters or is it for PS2 only?

No, the emulator only works on PS2 games.

But the xbox360's caw is supposed to be much better than the PS2's version. There's a guy around youtube who made some pretty impressive CAWs (Homer Simpsom, Iron Man and others). And I think he's using a 360 without any hacking or cheating (just talent and lots of free time). I don't remember his name, though.

HaHa! That was brilliant. Other than superfriends, She-ra is about the best cartoon adaptation of the comic character wonderWoman. Although obviously she was the ultimate archetype of the superhero female. She had the outfit of supergirl, but the character of Wonderwoman and the heroism of any female action character, like Shanna etc. Supes+Wondy are the best, but I'm sorry, She-ra and her Brother would win hands down. They are just too mighty and pure in heart.

LOL, when I saw the still shot of this over w/the videos on the right hand side,I couldn't see that it was computer generated.I thought for a minute that it was old footage from the 80s from GLOW, the Georgeous Ladies of Wrestling.Does anyone else remember that show? Used to be on Sat. early evening,and I loved that show as a kid,embarassing to say,but I did.

Actually She-ra had a lifetime of training by the Horde, otherwise she wouldn't have been their force captain. Still, if these two actually fought, that ring and mat would have to be made of adamantium just to survive, and even then the impacts would create serious earthquakes.

Oh please....Wonder Woman is an Amazon that spent her whole life learning how to fight. All She-Ra knew how to do was that lame spinning back kick. (These two are my favorite heroines btw)
