After using "Party Mode" in a test event with a friend, my Google+ android app is now uploading all photos via Instant Upload even though I clearly have Instant Upload disabled. To those who say Party Mode is not working, you have to create an event, check in at the event, then enable the instant upload/party mode check box in the events settings.
