  • Thank you

  • First he says that CCD "typically" is better than CMOS, and seconds later he says "always". Also he is comapring view from CCD and CMOS when he admits to use CCD that has better resolution. From technical point of view makes no sense.

I am not saying CMOS are better (that depends on the application), but credentials of this comparision are next to none.

  • you gotta redo this with an hd cmos camera...from what ive seen its getting much better these days and they can be so tiny with such a great image,,just be sure to get a real hd cmos camera and not a fake...this video is out of date already..cmos is close if not already passing ccd technology,,cmos uses much less power as well,,,make a new video using the same resolution with the same lens size cuz it matters

  • shite

  • well he is correct about the comparison between CCD and CMOS if you take into account that security camera are all outdated stone age garbage compared to modern cameras and camcorders. Its lucky to find a security system where they actually use cameras with sensors dating to post year 2000.

  • Where's your proof that's a CMOS sensors being used?, people are just taking your word for it!

CMOS sensors have vastly improved 8 months on from this old video, your still in the stone age mate.

Plus, who wants a CCD image sensor which consumes more power meaning shorter battery life?

CCD image sensors are shit in low light, so what's your selling point? ZERO!

  • Thank you for the comparison. :)

  • nice
